Why did we create sustainable and eco-friendly shoes?

95% of the pairs of shoes thrown away in France end up incinerated or buried in the ground. We have therefore created our models iso that they have a low impact on the environment and that they last as long as possible. That's why our models are timeless, designed with carefully chosen materials and produced by the best craftsmen to ensure the best quality.

To product our shoes, we have chosen family and artisanal workshops in Spain and Portugal: this way, we stay close to France, we ensure the best quality, and we know how our shoes are produced. To learn more, we invite you to visit our Know-How page.
How do I get my pair delivered?

Several options are available to you: at home with a standard or express delivery, or in a relay point. Delivery fees vary according to the option chosen, and are offered in metropolitan France from 90€ of purchase. For a standard delivery in France, your package will be shipped within 48 hours.
When Astrid et Alexandre created Angarde, they decided to use recycled materials, and to give their clients the possibility to recycle their shoes, in order to adopt a circular approach. Our women's shoes are timeless, elegant but also comfortable, sustainable, with a low impact on the environment.

Eco-responsible shoes, what's that ?
Angarde is a French brand that was created to consume better, differently. Indeed, our first model, the espadrille, was thought by Astrid and Alexandre, originally from the Basque Country, to last in time, in opposition to the classic espadrilles which rarely last more than one summer. Low-impact or recycled and sustainable raw materials sourced in Europe, European production, and pairs that you can recycle when they are at the end of their life.
The women's espadrille
is the first model imagined by Astrid and Alexandre, co-founders of the brand. This eco-responsible shoe is distinguished by its rubber outsole, water resistant, which will allow your pair to last you for years. Recycled linen, recycled PET or recycled cotton, our Angarde women's espadrilles are made from environmentally friendly, breathable and innovative materials, for an ultra comfortable shoe.
The women's sneaker
Made of grape, cactus or pineapple vegetable leather, the materials used for our eco-responsible women's sneakers are vegan, and low-polluting, for an even smaller impact on the environment! These innovative materials make our sneakers breathable and very comfortable, always in a simple and pure design.
The women's slipper
Our women's slipper is made of natural and eco-friendly materials, mainly recycled wool. Our best seller will accompany you in winter as well as in summer, thanks to this thermoregulatory material.
Women's mule
This summer shoe will be perfect to wear indoors or outdoors. Ultra trendy, they are made of high quality recycled linen, and will fit perfectly on your foot. Casual at the beach, chic for a summer party or chill at home, your women's mules will adapt to all styles!
